Margaret Loy Pula wins 42nd 2013 Muswellbrook Art Prize Painting Section

Margaret Loy Pula has won the 42nd Muswellbrook Art Prize 2013 Painting Section with her story "Anatye (Bush Potato)".
Margaret's winning entry was selected amongst 43 finalists.
Of the winning entry the judge said "Loy Pula's canvas shimmers with overall delicacy, yet beneath the subtle painted surface, a strong organising principle is evident".
The Anatye story is Margaret's fathers dreaming and portrays the country where Margaret comes from.
The work is on display at the Muswellbrook Regional Art Gallery until 12th May.
