Aboriginal Art by Yinarupa NungalaYinarupa Nungala was born in the desert of Western Australia and lived a traditional aboriginal life with her. It was not until 1963 that her family had first contact with the western world when they came in from the desert to a remote outstation. In 2009 Yinarupa won the General Painting Section of the 26th Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards. |
