George Hairbrush Tjungurrayi was a finalist in the Wynne Prize 2007 and in 2003 was voted as one of the “50 Most Collectable artists” by the Australian Art Collector magazine. George began painting in 1976 and he paints his ancestral country around Kiwirrkura, near Lake Mackay in Western Australia.
