Evelyn Pultara is from the Utopia area, approx 270kms north of Alice Springs in Central Australia. She was born around 1940 at Woodgreen Station and is related to famous artists Emily Kame Kngwarreye and Greenie Petyarre. In 2005 Evelyn won the General Painting Section of the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award.
