  • Early Aboriginal Artifacts This exhibition includes a selection of rare and collectable Australian Aboriginal artifacts. Collected over many years these include pre-contact and transitional pieces. Including works that were both functional and ceremonial this exhibition illustrates the incredible ingenuity and adaptablilty of pre-colonial Australia.   • Black and White The use of black and white artworks within a home can create a a fresh, clean, and unquestionably sophisticated and elegant look to any room. This striking display of simple but dramatic black and white artworks is on display in the Gallery until April 14th.
  • A Christmas Selection With the festive season fast upon us Muk Muk Fine Art presents its final show for 2011 – “A Christmas Selection”. With the majority of works under $2,500 it is the perfect opportunity to buy that unique and truly memorable Christmas gift. This exhibition opens Thursday 1st December and is showing until the 23rd December.
  • Ngukurr - The Place of Stones This exhibition features three of the most innovative and accomplished artists from the Roper River region of Eastern Arnhem Land; Gertie Huddleston, Angelina George and Barney Ellaga. The works on display are from a collection of older paintings, many held back for over a decade. Colourful, vibrant and exhuberant these works are highly collectable. The exhibition will open at 6pm Thursday 10th November and is showing until 26th November.
  • Desert Colours Spring has arrived and the wildflowers are in full bloom. To celebrate Muk Muk Fine Art presents a show that reflects the gorgeous array of colour that can be seen throughout the desert landscape.
  • New Works - Adam Cullen On Friday 23rd September Archibald Prize winning artist Adam Cullen will open a solo exhibition of his work at Muk Muk Fine Art Gallery in Eastside. The exhibiton runs until 1st October. The works will then be exhibiting in Darwin at Sprout Creative, 51 Smith St, from the 7th October until 22nd October.
  • Ngapa - Water Dreaming Muk Muk Fine Art will host the first solo exhibition for Aboriginal artist Kay Rubuntja Naparrula opening Saturday 10th September. Kay’s paintings depict “Ngapa” or Water Dreaming, an important story for the Warlpiri people. Using intricate dotting Kay's paintings portray a soakage site in Kay’s homelands. The exhibition runs until 20th September 2011.
  • A Telstra Survey To celebrate the 28th Telstra Art Awards we present an exhibition of artworks from artists that have been finalists or category winners of past awards. This exhibition celebrates the success of these artists and showcases their beautiful artworks.
  • Three Fine Ladies: New Works from the Desert Three Fine Ladies: New Works from the Desert 13th August - 20th August This exhibition showcases the wonderful new works by three talented artists from Central Australia - Eva Nelson Napaltjarri, Kay Rubuntja Naparrula and Margaret Loy Pula. Each artist uses a field in intricate dotting techniques to portrary their dreamings, stories that have been passed down to them from family members.
  • Tali (My Country) Tatali Naparrula and Mavis Jugadai Napaltjarri 9th July - 30th July 2011 The Western Desert covers approx 600,000 square kilometres and was traditionally home to many different Aborignal groups. Up until the 1960's white contact with this part of Australia was very rare. For artists Tatali Naparrula and Mavis Jugadai Napaltjarri the Western desert is their "home".
